The quickest way to have water build up, mold and mildew around your bathtub is an improperly caulked bathtub. Properly sealing your bathtub can prevent future unwanted issues that could cost you hundreds of dollars.
Fixing the issue is simple. All we recommend that you do is apply a bead of silicone caulk around the cracks and edges of the tub. Proper caulking of the tub comes down to three things: the position of the caulk gun, the speed that you move the gun and the opening that you cut in the caulk tub.
Once the bathtub is sealed with a fresh bead of caulk, you have helped maintain the longevity for many showers and baths to come!
